I was co-organizing an Earth Day climate strike when COVID-19 disrupted all plans. We shifted our strategy to a social media art drop with the hashtag #wewillrise. I hosted a visual training workshop and virtual art build to share the hopeful vision of the Sunrise Movement. Participants created art that expressed their hopes for the future and shared online on Earth Day.
